Starting out in paediatric occupational therapy can be exciting — but it can also feel like there is an enormous amount to learn.
Our clinical supervision is designed for new graduate OTs and occupational therapists who are new to paediatric practice and want practical, experienced support as they build their confidence and clinical reasoning.
Supervision is tailored to where you are in your practice. Sessions may include discussion of complex cases, assessment and intervention planning, clinical reasoning, documentation, working with parents and educators, goal setting, professional boundaries, managing workload and translating occupational therapy theory into practical paediatric intervention.
The focus is not simply on telling you what to do. Good supervision should help you develop the reasoning, confidence and professional judgement to work through clinical decisions yourself.
Individual Supervision
30 min $90 | 45 min $130 | 60 min $169 — GST inclusive
Flexible one-to-one clinical supervision, with session length chosen to suit the support you need.
Employer-Funded Supervision
60 min — $220 GST inclusive
Includes the additional responsibilities associated with organisational supervision arrangements, including administration, supervision agreements and agreed employer liaison where required.
Group Supervision
60 min — $85 per person GST inclusive | Maximum 4 OTs
Small-group clinical supervision providing time for shared case discussion, clinical reasoning and professional learning while keeping the group small enough for everyone to actively participate.
Moving Your OT Career to Australia?
Moving your occupational therapy career to Australia involves much more than learning a new workplace. There can be a new registration system, different professional expectations, unfamiliar terminology and documentation requirements, and a health and disability system that may operate very differently from the one you have worked within previously.
Our international OT supervision and mentoring is designed for overseas-trained occupational therapists who are working towards, or transitioning into, occupational therapy practice in Australia. Supervision is provided by Carolin, who trained in Germany before successfully transitioning to registration in Australia. This provides support from someone who understands both Australian practice expectations and what it is like to make that transition yourself.

Continue with individual clinical supervision tailored to your Australian practice journey as needed.
